Payments:

 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards and debit cards through Paypal or SquareUp. You will be billed at the time your order is processed. Be sure to provide your billing address and telephone number as well as your shipping address. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.
Tax:
Bowery Beach Farm will charge and withhold the 5.5% sales tax for book orders to be delivered to Maine addresses. For orders shipped to other states, your state tax will be calculated once you enter your zip code at checkout.

Wholesale Customers

 Ordering:
We do have wholesale accounts for nurseries and retailers with Net 30 Terms. Wholesale Orders have a $100 minimum and require a 50% deposit at the time of placement, with the balance due at time of shipment. You will need to provide a copy of a valid resale certificate before placing an order. If your business is interested in acquiring a wholesale account email us at wholesale@bowerybeachfarm.com with WHOLESALE in the subject line, and include what types of plants you are looking for in your message. Wholesale Orders have a 50% deposit at the time of placement, with balance due at time of shipment.
Refunds and Replacements: 
Your satisfaction is very important to us at Bowery Beach Farm. Please understand that we take every care to package your plants safely and ensure that they are delivered in a timely manner, but we have no control over the USPS or the handling of  your package once it leaves our property. Although not a frequent occurrence, occasionally packages could get lost or damaged in the mail through no fault of us.  If this happens, email us immediately and we will work with you to come up with a fair solution.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You should be available to receive your package on the day it is received and open it as soon as possible. Plants cannot survive in hot mailboxes or outdoors in freezing temperatures for extended periods of time without sun or water . During temperature extremes your plants may arrive stressed, and you should open your package right away. If you’re unavailable to receive your plants, have an employee or someone there to ensure they are opened in a timely manner and not left in an unhealthy environment.
Your plants may be tired after their journey, but they will usually bounce back given time and the proper care.  Please refer to the care instructions included with your package and follow these directions to ensure that your plants thrive once they arrive at your business.
If your plants arrive dead or do not seem to be recovering after the proper care, email us immediately with a photo of your plants along with a short note regarding the problem.  Often you simply need to give the plants some time to recover, usually several days, from the shipment.
Refunds or replacement plants will be decided on a case-by-case basis depending upon the circumstances. Refunds are limited to the actual cost of the plant(s) and we cannot refund the shipping charge. Also, we reserve the right to ship replacement plants at a later date if weather has been determined to be a factor.
